Acceptance Quality Limits (AQLs)

Acceptance Quality Limits (AQLs) are the quality measurements for maximum numbers of defects that a manufacturer can tolerate. Each plan stipulates the following for specific AQLs and lot sizes:

The AQL is also applicable to the original inspection of a part, and the maximum percent defective or the maximum number of defects per hundred units that can be considered satisfactory as a process average.

AQLs are delivered with the system and cannot be edited.
